If you’ve forgotten to thaw your bird, don’t waste the time, because you can cook from frozen.
Cook stuffing separately instead of stuffing your bird. The temperature and amount of time you’d have to cook your bird in order to make the stuffing safe to eat will dry out your bird. Use the turkey drippings to give your stuffing a great flavor.
Cooked turkey will last about one month when frozen for leftover meals.
If you’ve got last minute questions regarding your turkey, call the Butterball Turkey Hotline at (800) 323-4848 or (800) Butterball. Automated assistance is available after 4 pm on Thanksgiving Day.
