For 30 years, Seattle-based rockers have survived trends (“grunge,” anyone?), lineup changes and, well, old age, and are still rolling along strong with their mix of punk, Southern rock, country and no-nonsense vibe. This resilience has kept their international fan base going and growing strong. Supersuckers, which has recorded with the likes of Willie Nelson and Steve Earle, rocks with a big heart, contributing to and promoting causes including Farm Aid and the West Memphis 3.
8 p.m. Friday, July 14; openers Gorilla Candy and The Chrome Fangs; Jack Rabbits, San Marco, $15, jaxlive.com.
