On a near-perfect evening in Neptune Beach, 25 of the city's top foodies and food bloggers and Folio Weekly's BITE CLUB welcomed CRAFT PIZZA CO. to Northeast Florida's epicurean community.
The much-sought-after invitations went to good use, as the lucky group delighted in some of the area's most exciting new cuisine. BITE CLUB hostess Brentley Stead was on hand to facilitate the evening, and Craft Pizza Co.'s Chef Josh Agan joined the room to talk about the restaurant's fare and answer questions.
Tasty treats on hand included precision-crafted appetizers, individually-paired wines, and the star of the show, Craft Pizza Co.'s unique and flavorful pies, plied to perfection with imported San Marzano tomatoes harvested at the peak of ripeness, hand-milled mozzarella, herbs from the Chef's personal garden, local Azar's sausage, and hydroponic kale and arugula from Atlantic Beach urban farms less than a mile away from the restaurant.
