@Mary_Designer Thanks for the negative criticism about Deemable Tech. No, seriously, I really do appreciate it. Just for the record though, podcasts weren't invented until 2005; you overshot the Tardis by about 15 years. The iPod wasn't even invented until 2001. In the 90's we were all still jamming to our Sony Walkman tape player and Discman CD players.

Anyway, "What is a podcast?" is the number one question we get at Deemable Tech, over and over again. I felt it was good question to start our blog here in Folio Weekly since obviously so many people don't know what a podcast is.

We answer any and all tech questions we receive. So, if you have a question about your Palm Pilot, DOS 5.1 or how to program the clock on your VCR, send it in to us. Otherwise, when you're back in 2013 after you've figured out how to handle that wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff, and you have questions about iPhones, Androids, tablets or the Internet, feel free to send those questions in too! Call us at 1-888-972-9868 or email us at questions@deemable.com.

Well, FAQ link does not work. I kind of agree with some of the others. Too busy. Really don't care for the logo either. I think a little more creative thought may be called for. Not being critical - hopefully helpful. ENGAGE!

I'm not a fan of the site. The new look isn't really user friendly! I can't find anything. Search isn't helping either.

I don't understand why you don't have any of the hard-hitting investigative news and commentary up here at all. Are you phasing that out? I no longer live in the area so I can't pick up a physical copy anymore. If you are really getting rid of the important journalism and opinion, you'll be doing a disservice to Northeast Florida.

My primary use for the folio is the events calendar. The new calendar is good in theory, but could use some help with the execution. It would be great to be able to have a weekly or monthly view of events, as it was before...that made it really easy to scan for things you might be interested in. Also, the music events dont seem to all show up on mobile devices. Thanks for the opportunity to comment!

I think it would be great if you included a song or video of the bands featured in your music columns and concert dates. Or at least a link to their Web pages.

A new logo that already looks dated.

Finally giving the readers the chance to comment on stories and calling that a "digital revolution."

A five page newsprint cover story on how to use your website.

A tech page that answers questions like "What is a podcast?"

Congratulations! Welcome to the 1990's!

So far I prefer the old site overall. I like the new calendar feature for checking specific days and weeks. But it's a lot more time consuming searching week by week to see upcoming shows and concerts vs the old site with all concerts listed on one page.

@gatorguy: Thanks for your comments. Some parts of the site are still being adjusted. We will have a searchable club database. The events calendar is just getting started. We've been seeding it with events this week and will get more up in the next few days, but we will also need the help of the community to post their events, including band shows.

@CapassJM: We're working on our archive. We plan to have it up and running in the next week. It will be a link at the top of the page.

It looks fantastic. It has a great color scheme and an easy to navigate layout.

As an Website expert expert once warned me: more is not always better! Your new site is cluttered & confusing to navigate. The many pics are nice but...too much eye candy & too little simplicity. The old site was MUCH more user friendly. What have you done with the listing for LOCAL bands @ LOCAL clubs??!! I've spent 45 minutes searching & still can't find it?! Come on folks, support our LOCAL bands & clubs, not ticket sales & nat'l acts' corporate sales :-( No, I'm not a band member, nor do I own a club!
