We hate to use clichés, but there’s really no other way to put it: Paula Poundstone has done it all. In addition to performing stand-up shows all over the nation, she dabbled in politics as a correspondent during the 1992 presidential campaign, became the first woman to perform at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, is still a regular panelist on NPR’s weekly quiz show, Wait Wait … Don’t Tell Me, wrote a book, adopted children and even got arrested. That’s what we call show business. 8 p.m. April 12, The Florida Theatre, Downtown, $25-$50.
