Limelight Theatre proudly presents "The Rainmaker," a family-friendly classic by N. Richard Nash. Directed by Ian Mairs, "The Rainmaker" will play on the Matuza Main Stage March 8-30. Preview night is March 7, Champagne opening night is March 8, and Terrific Tuesday featuring tickets priced at two for $25 is March 12. There will also be a Teacher Appreciation Night March 15 offering teachers and school board employees discounted tickets for $20 which includes one drink. In Depression era America, spinster-like Lizzie Curry's family worries more about their daughter's marital prospects than the drought that is threatening their ranch. When a swindler arrives and promises rain for $100, a chain of events have Lizzie seeing herself in a whole new light.
