Promenade! Art Walk Concert with Ken Trimmins and Mimi Noda
Dr. Ken Trimmins (trumpet) and Dr. Mimi Noda (piano), faculty artists from Albany State University, will perform works by Vidal, Tomasi, Neruda, and Richard Peaslee.
Ken Trimmins (DMA,FSU) was a music director and band leader with the U.S Air Force, and has been a cultural ambassador for the U.S. Dept. of State. Televised appearances include BET Jazz and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Pianist Mimi Noda relocated from Japan to the U.S. in 1998 to pursue graduate studies at Univ. of Georgia (MM) and FSU (DM). In addition to her responsibilities at Albany State, Dr. Noda is a keyboardist with the Albany Symphony Orchestra.
FREE PARKING: on-street after 6pm, and validation for the garage on Duval St. at Main.
Concertgoers may use the Main Street entrance because the Laura St. entrance will close at 7 p.m.
