PRE-INTERNATIONAL NOISE CONFERENCE

Expect beautiful noise at the Pre-INC event, as sound artists show off their latest productions in homemade electronics, modified keyboards and guitars, no-input mixers and more. The local Pre-INC show (along with ones in Atlanta, St. Petersburg, Orlando and Gainesville) leads up to the 10th annual INC, held Feb. 6-9 in Miami. Jamison Williams, an experimental saxophonist and curator of the local event since 2009, expects 20 to 30 sound artists, including Gainesville’s Ironing and Nicholas David, Tampa’s Nequam Sonitus and local artists Faker, The Glyph and others.
