Festivities for the 43rd annual Earth Day include teaching kids about recycling and demonstrations by the Jacksonville Zoo and other “Earth-conscious groups.” More than 60 organizations offer tips on conserving energy and water, sustainable living and preventing pollution. Earth Day includes a mini-grant ceremony for local nonprofits, live music, arts and crafts.
