Blue skies and sunshine brought families and friends to the Feb. 2 Community First Saturday event. Food trucks and local interest tents lined the Northbank Riverwalk. Volunteers for the “Faces of HIV” public health campaign sported informational signs on their backs and wheeled posters down the bank. Children painted pennants and played kettle drums, while adults participated in a spin class just yards from the river. Community First Credit Union of Florida sponsors the family-friendly events in the same location the first Saturday of each month.
